Edgewood's Opening Assembly

September 20, 2024 was Edgewood's Opening Assembly. The opening assembly is meant to introduce new students and teachers to give them a fresh start to our school. It is also an opportunity for you to spend time and get to know your new buddy.
The assembly revealed this year's theme, which is "Together We Grow". This theme represents that if you help each other you will make more progress together. There will also be a special buddy activity based on the theme where you and your buddy draw on a paper seed what you promise to do this year. Throughout the year your seed will eventually "sprout" and grow into a flower. It is a mystery how a paper seed can sprout, but gradually we will find out how.
