Night Under the Stars

by Marley Mayta-Sebastian, Nura Kovacic, and Sophie Burge

All the fifth graders got a special night to watch a movie that we voted for and ended up being The Sandlot.

The Sandlot is about a boy named Thomas Guiry, nicknamed Scottie Smalls, who moved to a new neighborhood. He manages to make friends with a group of kids who play baseball at the Sandlot. Together, they go on a series of funny and touching adventures. The boys run into trouble when Smalls borrows a ball from his stepdad that gets hit over a fence. Unfortunately, it was signed by Babe Ruth.

We would like to thank our custodians for cleaning up after us and getting the glow sticks out of the tree. We hope you enjoyed this article!!!
